Custom designed to prepare young actors who are already experienced - a film and TV audition Bootcamp.
This course has been custom designed especially to prepare young actors who are entering the season and need to nail their film, TV, and commercial casting auditions.
Term One:
We cover detailed audition preparation for TVC commercial castings, managing nerves and expectations and being able to think on your feet and have the confidence to engage naturally with the Casting Director/ Director in your introductions on camera as well during the audition when the tasks or requests that are presented.
Term Two:
Audition preparation for Film and TV Auditions - an extension of the TVC learning points. How to interpret a script/sides, read between the lines, prepare an authentic performance and navigate a callback. Character Development and Emotional Connection - making interesting and authentic character choices and accessing truthful emotion that reads well on camera. Understanding 'your hit’ but also cultivating the confidence to present fresh performance choices that go against typecasting and conventional interpretations.
Term three:

Included in the course
- A film/tv scene that they will work on during the weeks.
- They will be required to prepare this scene for an audition and callback scenario and work intensively on camera refining their technique with guided coaching and directing support while also watching and observing their own progress through playback on the tv monitor.
